Permit and land acquisition, Detailed design, Procurement and Construction of the following:

• 242 km 110 kV OHTL
• 110/11 kV 2x16 MVA Substation
• 110/35/6 kV Substation extension
• 220 m2 Control building
• 2x2750 kVA Deisel station
• 100-ton fuel tank system
• 10 MVAR Static Var Generator
• 7.7 km 11 kV OHL

Project Summary

MCS International LLC financed and executed the “Nariin Sukhait – Bayankhondii 242 km,       110 kV overhead transmission line and 2x16 MVA 110/11 kV substation” project at its own expense, providing reliable electricity to Erdene Mongolia LLC’s gold mine, processing plant, and critical facilities located in Urtiin Gol, Shinejinst soum, Bayankhongor province. The company served as both the Client and the General Contractor.

Within the scope of the project, MCS International LLC developed a technical and economic feasibility study, engineering solutions, and detailed working designs based on geological and geodetic surveys. All necessary technical specifications, land permits, and environmental impact assessments were obtained in accordance with applicable laws and regulations.

The project successfully completed the construction of 1,543 transmission towers along the    242 km line. Upon commissioning, the system will supply 262 million kWh of electricity to Erdene Mongolia LLC over a 7 year period.
