The primary aims of the project focused on the installation of data acquisition and control units at the power stations and distribution stations. Data transmission units and a monitoring and supervisory control system were also installed in the Ulaanbaatar regional central control room. Altogether, 35,000 points, including circuit breakers, blinker positions and analog information were installed in main equipment and lines.
